Required Helper - Mumbai

Key Responsibilities:

1. General Support Duties:

• Assist skilled workers such as machine operators, technicians, supervisors, or artisans in their day-to-day work.
• Carry tools, raw materials, or finished products from one section to another as instructed.
• Hold materials or tools in place during operations like cutting, welding, polishing, assembling, or cleaning.

2. Loading and Unloading:

• Load raw materials, equipment, and finished goods onto transport vehicles or into storage areas.
• Unload deliveries and move items to designated locations using manual handling or trolleys.

3. Cleaning and Housekeeping:

• Keep work areas, machinery, tools, and storage areas clean and organized.
• Sweep floors, remove debris, and dispose of waste materials appropriately.
• Clean equipment and tools under supervision to maintain hygiene and safety standards.

4. Assistance in Production or Manufacturing:

• Support the production line by feeding materials into machines or packing products into boxes.
• Follow instructions related to measurements, basic assembly, or finishing processes (such as polishing, cutting, or folding) as required by the worksite.
• Ensure that quality standards are followed while handling materials or semi-finished goods.

5. Safety and Maintenance Support:

• Follow all safety rules and use protective gear (PPE) like gloves, helmets, or masks as instructed.
• Report any hazards, damaged tools, or unsafe conditions to the supervisor immediately.
• Help in organizing and maintaining equipment and materials to avoid clutter or risks.

6. Inventory and Material Handling:

• Assist in tracking and organizing inventory items in stores or warehouses.
• Label and segregate items as per supervisor instructions.
• Maintain count records and help during stocktaking or physical verification if required.

7. Miscellaneous Tasks:

• Run small errands within the work premises (e.g., delivering documents, collecting materials, etc.).
• Work flexibly across departments depending on the workload and shift.
• Cooperate with co-workers, maintain a positive attitude, and contribute to team efforts.
