Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and results-oriented Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive the company s growth objectives. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, managing day-to-day operations of the sales department, and ensuring that revenue targets are consistently met or exceeded. You will play a key leadership role in mentoring and motivating a team of sales executives, equipping them with the tools, training, and guidance needed to achieve both individual and collective goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed organizational goals.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Plan and allocate monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets to the team.

2. Team Leadership and Development:

  • Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team.
  • Set clear performance expectations and KPIs for sales executives.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and feedback sessions.
  • Foster a collaborative, result-driven culture within the sales team.

3. Sales Operations and Execution:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the sales department to ensure efficiency.
  • Assign territories or sectors to sales representatives and ensure fair distribution of workload.
  • Monitor individual and team performance, providing coaching as needed.
  • Track and analyze sales data, generate reports, and present progress to management.

4. Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through regular communication and service follow-up.
  • Negotiate and close deals with key clients.

5. Business Development and Lead Generation:

  • Identify and pursue new customer acquisition opportunities.
  • Explore new markets and sectors for expansion.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to generate leads and conduct promotional campaigns.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and exhibitions to network and represent the company.

6. Reporting and Forecasting:

  • Prepare regular sales forecasts, budgets, and reports for senior management.
  • Analyze sales trends, customer data, and competitor activity to refine strategies.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to enhance sales performance and market share.

7. Compliance and Process Management:

  • Ensure all sales activities comply with legal and ethical standards.
