Job Description
Job Summary:We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Manager - Commercial to oversee sales & distribution management, invoice control, pricing updates, and commercial operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in scheme design & implementation, logistics coordination, credit limit control, and payment terms management, ensuring smooth commercial execution while supporting business growth.Key Responsibilities:Sales & Distribution Management:- Oversee end-to-end sales and distribution processes to ensure seamless order execution.- Coordinate with regional sales teams, distributors, and channel partners to optimize supply chain efficiency.- Analyze sales trends and provide data-driven insights for decision-making.Invoice Control & Pricing Management:- Ensure accurate and timely invoice generation and reconciliation.- Monitor pricing updates and ensure compliance with company policies.- Work closely with finance and sales teams to maintain price accuracy across SKUs and markets.Scheme Design & Implementation:- Develop and update trade schemes, discounts, and promotional offers in alignment with business objectives.- Track scheme performance and recommend modifications based on market trends and ROI analysis.- Communicate schemes effectively to the sales team and distributors.Logistics & Payment Terms Management:- Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery of products.- Manage credit limits and payment terms for customers while ensuring adherence to company credit policies.- Work with finance and accounts teams to monitor receivables and ensure timely payments.Sales Support & Team Management:- Provide operational support to the sales team to enhance productivity.- Train and mentor junior team members in commercial operations and best practices.- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders for seamless execution of business strategies.Key Requirements:- Bachelor s/MBA, Commerce, Finance, or a related field.- 3-7 years of experience in commercial operations, sales support, or related roles.- Strong knowledge of sales & distribution processes, invoice control, pricing strategies, and scheme management.- Proficiency in SAP, ERP systems, MS Excel, and other commercial tools.- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple stakeholders.Preferred Skills:- Experience in FMCG, Manufacturing, or Retail industries.- Knowledge of taxation, compliance, and regulatory frameworks related to commercial operations.- Strong attention to detail with a focus on process improvement and efficiency.
