Job Description
An Area Sales Manager for Critical Care Medicines would be responsible for driving sales within a specific geographic region, focusing on key accounts like hospitals and critical care facilities. They would lead a sales team, develop and implement sales strategies, build relationships with key customers, and track sales performance to achieve targets. Key Responsibilities:Sales Strategy Development:- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets within their assigned territory. Team Leadership:- Lead and manage a sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to achieve individual and team goals. Account Management:- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including hospitals, critical care units, and healthcare professionals. Product Knowledge:- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company s critical care products, their applications, and competitive landscape. Sales Operations:- Manage the sales process, from lead generation and qualification to closing deals and ensuring customer satisfaction. Reporting and Analysis:- Track sales performance, identify trends, and provide regular reports to management. Market Intelligence:- Monitor competitor activity and identify new market opportunities. Training and Development:- Provide ongoing training and development to the sales team on product knowledge, sales techniques, and industry best practices. Collaborate with other departments:- Work closely with marketing, customer service, and other departments to achieve business objectives. Skills and Qualifications:Sales experience:- Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry. Leadership skills:- Ability to motivate and lead a sales team to achieve results.
