We are currently seeking a System Performance Consultant to join our team in Noida, Uttar Pradesh (IN:UP), India (IN).
Summary of Role:
We are seeking a skilled Performance Test Engineer with hands:on experience in testing high:performance business:critical applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing performance tests in alignment with defined strategies and performance requirements. As a member of a collaborative QA team, you will contribute to ensuring the system under test meets expected performance benchmarks and service:level objectives.
Responsibilities:

Contribute to the development and execution of performance test strategies.

Design and implement performance test plans for Microservices and APIs.
:
Validate performance using REST APIs and front:end interfaces.
:
Create, manage, and execute JMeter or LoadRunner scripts for test execution.
:
Generate and manage appropriate test data.
:
Set up and manage test execution using local or distributed test environments.
:
Monitor and analyze system behavior during tests using observability tools.
:
Identify and report performance bottlenecks and assist developers in tuning.
:
Participate in defect triage meetings and highlight performance:related issues.
:
Collaborate closely with developers, QA leads, and product owners.
:
Track test results, metrics, and provide detailed reporting.
:
Log and manage defects in JIRA or equivalent tools.
:
Ensure tests are aligned with release timelines and performance criteria.

Escalate performance risks and issues in a timely manner.
Skills / Experience:
Required:

Experience with Windows and Unix/Linux environments.

3 years experience in performance testing (execution and analysis).

Solid understanding of system performance: CPU, memory, network, and IO.
:
Familiarity with Java performance concepts: garbage collection, profiling, heap analysis.
API/Microservices Test Tools and Skills:

REST, SOAP, Swagger/OpenAPI.

JMeter (must have) / HP LoadRunner (good to have).

Prometheus Grafana (good to have).
:
Wiremock or other service virtualization tools.
