Job Description

We are currently looking for passionate and talented video editor who can perform editing with top video editing softwares and must do color grading as well& Must be creative and effective in understanding the script.

Key Responsibilities:

Video Editing and Post-Production:
- Edit raw footage into compelling, polished final videos using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
- Trim and arrange footage, add transitions, sync audio, insert music, and apply visual effects as needed.
- Color correct and grade video footage to ensure consistency in tone and style.
- Optimize video content for different platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, websites, etc.) in terms of resolution, format, and duration.
Creative Storytelling:
- Collaborate with the creative team to understand the script, concept, and visual direction of each project.
- Add a creative touch to projects to enhance storytelling and audience engagement.
- Suggest improvements to scripts, shot lists, or storyboards from an editing perspective.
- Maintain a consistent visual style in line with brand guidelines.
Motion Graphics and Visual Enhancements:
- Create and integrate motion graphics, lower-thirds, titles, logos, intros, and outros using After Effects or similar tools.
- Apply sound effects, background music, and voiceovers to elevate video quality.
- Ensure proper use of licensed music and stock assets.
Project Management and Workflow:
- Organize and manage media assets, project files, and version control for ongoing and archived projects.
- Follow naming conventions, backups, and versioning systems to maintain file integrity and ease of access.
- Work efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and creative quality.
- Track progress, review drafts with stakeholders, and incorporate feedback to finalize content.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Coordinate with directors, producers, graphic designers, writers, and marketing teams to deliver cohesive final products.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas for content development.
- Clearly communicate project timelines, editing needs, and challenges.
Quality Control and Optimization:
- Review final outputs to ensure error-free videos with clean transitions, correct spelling in titles/captions, and proper audio syncing.
- Export videos in multiple formats for various platforms ensuring optimal quality and performance.
- Monitor video performance metrics (views, engagement, watch time) to help improve future content.
