Are you passionate about chemistry, innovation, and creating cutting:edge coating solutions? allnex invites you to join our dynamic team in Mumbai, India as a Technical Service and Development Chemist
In this role, you 'll be the mastermind in the lab - formulating UV/LED curable and liquid coatings, paints, and resin formulations that meet the highest standards. You 'll collaborate closely with R and D and technical teams, making sure our products not only perform brilliantly but also keep our customers happy.
You won 't just be mixing chemicals - you 'll be part of a team that 's pushing the boundaries of innovation in the coatings and resin space. Your work will directly support the development of products that make a real difference for customers and industries across the region.

Responsibilities
:Develop, test, and evaluate innovative coatings and ink formulations following established templates and procedures.
:Conduct a range of lab tests (adhesion, hardness, corrosion, weather resistance, chemical resistance - you name it) to ensure top:notch product performance.
:Maintain meticulous lab records, test results, and mandatory safety and environmental documentation.
:Ensure lab activities meet safety standards - including the proper use of PPE and following protocols.
:Keep lab equipment in tip:top shape, handling routine maintenance and calibration.
:Collaborate closely with R and D and technical teams to support new product development and continuous improvements.
:Organize and prioritize your lab workload efficiently, planning multi:day tasks like a pro
:Participate in internal discussions and connect with suppliers on equipment and lab products.
Required skills and experience
:3:5 years of experience working with UV:curable, solventborne, or waterborne coatings, paint, ink technology, crosslinkers, or resins.
:Strong hands:on experience with coatings and ink manufacturing, application processes, and lab testing equipment.
:Solid understanding of industry standards, testing methods, and safety protocols.
:Familiarity with implementing QMS ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 is a big plus
:Willingness and ability to handle physical tasks in the lab.
:Comfortable using MS Excel and Word for documentation and reporting.
:Fluent in English - both written and spoken.
:Strong orientation toward results, precision, and accuracy.
:Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem:solving skills.
Qualifications
:Bachelor 's Degree or higher in Organic Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, or Paint Technology.
