Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Entry and Management:

• Enter financial data such as invoices, bills, receipts, and expense reports into spreadsheets or accounting systems.
• Accurately record numerical data, financial transactions, and other relevant details into enterprise resource planning (ERP) or accounting software.
• Update and maintain financial records regularly to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

2. Verification and Validation:

• Review documents such as purchase orders, payment vouchers, and bank statements for correctness before entry.
• Cross-check figures, reports, and documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Verify that data is entered correctly and reconcile discrepancies if any are found.

3. Filing and Documentation:

• Organize and maintain digital and physical files related to financial transactions.
• Assist with scanning and storing invoices, receipts, and financial documents as per the company s document retention policies.
• Ensure secure handling of sensitive and confidential information.

4. Supporting Financial Operations:

• Assist the finance or accounting team in preparing reports such as payment summaries, reconciliation statements, and expense analysis.
• Support the monthly closing and reporting process by providing timely and accurate data.
• Communicate with other departments or vendors regarding data clarification or document submission.

5. Software Usage:

• Work on MS Excel, Google Sheets, and accounting software like Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or any in-house financial system.
• Maintain proper formatting and file structure to ensure compatibility with reporting and analytics tools.

6. Compliance and Accuracy:

• Follow internal financial and data entry policies.
• Adhere to timelines and ensure a high level of accuracy in all data inputs.
• Maintain confidentiality and data security in line with company and regulatory standards.
