Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Market Data Collection & Analysis

• Collect data on consumers, competitors, and market conditions using online sources, surveys, interviews, and public data.
• Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights.
• Use statistical tools and techniques to interpret data sets and transform raw information into understandable findings.

2. Competitor and Industry Research

• Monitor and analyze competitor products, pricing, strategies, and marketing efforts.
• Prepare detailed competitor benchmarking and market share reports.
• Track industry news, regulatory changes, and market shifts that may impact business strategy.

3. Survey Design and Execution

• Design research questionnaires, online surveys, focus group guidelines, and interview protocols.
• Manage survey distribution and data collection using tools like Google Forms, Typeform, or SurveyMonkey.
• Ensure a representative sample and quality responses are gathered for valid conclusions.

4. Consumer Behavior Analysis

• Study and interpret consumer preferences, purchasing habits, and feedback.
• Support marketing and product teams in developing customer personas and targeting strategies.
• Identify gaps in customer needs that could be addressed by new or improved products.

5. Reporting and Presentation

• Create detailed market research reports and dashboards using Excel, PowerPoint, or data visualization tools.
• Present findings and strategic insights to internal stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Prepare executive summaries with business implications and recommendations.

6. Data Management and Tools

• Maintain and organize databases of research data, survey results, and market trends.
• Use research platforms such as Statista, SEMrush, Nielsen, or others depending on company access.
• Stay updated on new tools and methods in the field of market research and data analysis.

7. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with marketing, product, sales, and leadership teams to align research objectives with business goals.
• Support business development initiatives by identifying new opportunities and evaluating potential markets.
• Contribute to strategic planning by providing data-backed insights.
