Required Store Incharge - Kolkata

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inventory Management:

• Monitor and manage inventory levels to avoid overstocking or stockouts.
• Ensure proper storage and tagging of all incoming and outgoing goods.
• Regularly conduct physical stock verification and reconcile with system records.
• Maintain optimal stock levels based on consumption patterns and lead times.
• Implement FIFO (First In First Out) or LIFO (Last In First Out) as required.

2. Goods Receiving and Inspection:

• Receive materials from suppliers or vendors and check them against purchase orders.
• Inspect materials for quantity and quality, and report any discrepancies.
• Ensure that all receipts are entered in inventory management software or registers promptly.
• Coordinate with the quality team to clear materials for storage.

3. Issue and Dispatch:

• Issue materials to production, maintenance, or other departments as per requisitions.
• Pack and dispatch materials for outbound logistics as per client or project requirements.
• Prepare delivery challans, invoices, gate passes, and other required documents.

4. Documentation and Record Keeping:

• Maintain all inventory-related records including GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes), SRNs (Stock Return Notes), and MRNs (Material Requisition Notes).
• Update stock records in the ERP or inventory software.
• Maintain a daily stock register, inward and outward register, and bin cards if applicable.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for management review.

5. Store Organization and Cleanliness:

• Ensure that the store is well-organized, clean, and arranged logically for quick access.
• Use proper racking, labeling, and identification of items.
• Implement 5S methodology (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) to maintain workplace efficiency.

6. Safety and Compliance:

• Follow all safety protocols related to material handling and storage.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
• Handle hazardous materials as per safety guidelines, where applicable.
• Maintain fire safety equipment and first-aid kits within the store.

7. Coordination and Communication:

• Coordinate with procurement, production, finance, and other departments for material planning and usage.
• Liaise with suppliers for delivery schedules, discrepancies, and returns.
