Wanted Delivery Associate

Job Overview:

We are looking for a responsible, punctual, and hardworking Delivery Associate to join our growing delivery operations team. The delivery associate will be responsible for delivering packages, products, or food items to customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner. Whether you are delivering for an e-commerce company, grocery app, pharmacy, or restaurant, this role requires excellent customer service skills, knowledge of local routes, and the ability to handle packages with care.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Order Pickup & Delivery:

• Collect parcels or products from the distribution center, warehouse, store, or restaurant.
• Deliver items to customers at their doorstep within the assigned delivery time window.
• Handle food, documents, electronics, or other products with care and professionalism.

2. Route & Navigation Management:

• Use GPS or mobile apps to follow the most efficient delivery route.
• Familiarize yourself with local areas, traffic patterns, and alternate routes.
• Maintain timely deliveries by avoiding delays and optimizing travel time.

3. Customer Interaction:

• Communicate respectfully and courteously with customers during delivery.
• Obtain customer signatures or verification via mobile app as proof of delivery.
• Provide updates in case of delays, incorrect addresses, or customer queries.

4. Package Handling:

• Handle items gently and ensure packages are not damaged during loading/unloading.
• Scan barcodes using mobile devices or apps for accurate tracking.
• Return undelivered packages to the warehouse with reasons documented.

5. Record Keeping & Reporting:

• Maintain daily delivery logs including number of deliveries, delivery time, and cash collected (if applicable).
• Report issues such as traffic delays, lost items, customer complaints, or vehicle breakdowns promptly to supervisors.
