Job Description
  • Provide leadership, supervision, and support to nursing staff across assigned wards or units.
  • Oversee the delivery of safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care in accordance with hospital standards and healthcare regulations.
  • Act as a role model in clinical practice, professionalism, and patient advocacy.
  • Monitor staffing levels, allocate resources efficiently, and ensure adequate nurse-to-patient ratios.
  • Support professional development of staff through mentoring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Lead audits, inspections, and initiatives to improve clinical outcomes and service delivery.
  • Handle patient or family concerns and complaints with empathy and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Ensure adherence to infection control protocols, health and safety regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Participate in strategic planning, budget preparation, and policy development for the nursing department.
  • Follow standard protocols for infection prevention and control (hand hygiene, PPE usage, waste segregation).
