Required Accountant - Mumbai

We are looking for an Accountant to perform daily accounting tasks. Accountant responsibilities include managing Payables and reimbursements, entering financial transactions, creating invoices, and collection. Ultimately, you will help our Accounting department run smoothly, ensuring transparency and efficiency in all transactions.& Duties:

• Billing & Invoicing
• Payables Management
• Bank Reconciliation
• Petty Cash Management
• Debit Note/Credit Note&

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Record Keeping:
   • Maintain and update financial records such as ledgers, journals, and balance sheets.
   • Ensure that all financial data is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
   • Organize financial documents and maintain records in accordance with regulatory and company standards.
2. Budgeting and Forecasting:
   • Assist in the preparation of budgets by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information.
   • Monitor budget implementation and highlight variances between actual and forecasted figures.
   • Provide financial forecasting support for planning and investment decisions.
3. Financial Reporting:
   • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
   • Collaborate with management to provide insights into the financial performance of the organization.
   • Ensure financial reports comply with applicable accounting standards (such as GAAP or IFRS).
4. Tax Preparation and Compliance:
   • Prepare and file tax returns for the organization or clients.
   • Ensure timely and accurate payment of taxes, including VAT, income tax, and payroll taxes.
   • Stay updated with tax laws and regulations to ensure full compliance and to minimize tax liabilities.
5. Internal Controls and Auditing:
   • Develop and implement financial controls to safeguard the organization 's assets.
   • Conduct internal audits to evaluate financial and operational processes.
   • Work with external auditors by providing necessary documentation and addressing any findings or recommendations.
6. Accounts Payable and Receivable:
   • Manage the accounts payable process by ensuring timely payment of invoices and accurate recording of expenses.
   • Oversee accounts receivable by tracking incoming payments, issuing invoices, and following up on overdue accounts.
7. Payroll Processing:
   • Calculate employee wages, deductions, and bonuses.
   • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing and compliance with employment laws.
   • Prepare payroll reports and manage employee benefit contributions.
8. Financial Analysis:
   • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and financial risks or opportunities.
   • Provide recommendations to management based on financial analysis.
   • Support business decisions with relevant financial insights.
9. Compliance and Regulation:
   • Ensure adherence to financial laws and regulations relevant to the industry.
