Data Entry Operator

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Entry & Maintenance:

• Enter data from source documents into prescribed company databases, files, or spreadsheets.
• Update and maintain existing data records as required.
• Ensure data is accurate, complete, and free from duplication or errors.

2. Verification & Quality Check:

• Review data for deficiencies, inconsistencies, or errors, and correct any incompatibilities.
• Perform routine quality checks on entered data to ensure accuracy.
• Cross-verify information with source documents when necessary.

3. Document Management:

• Scan, file, and organize physical or digital documents as per company guidelines.
• Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information at all times.

4. Coordination:

• Collaborate with other departments to gather or clarify data for entry.
• Respond to queries related to data entry or record retrieval in a timely manner.
• Support other back-office tasks as assigned by supervisors.
