Job Description

About the Role: We are looking for a passionate and eager-to-learn Node.js Intern to join our backend development team. This internship offers hands-on experience in building real-world applications using Node.js and modern backend technologies.

Objectives of the Role

To assist in the development and maintenance of server-side applications using Node.js.

To gain practical experience in backend development, API creation, and database interactions.

To collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver functional software solutions.

To learn best practices in software development, testing, and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assisting in Backend Development

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code under the guidance of senior developers.

Help develop RESTful APIs and server-side logic to support web and mobile applications.

Collaborate on designing scalable and modular backend architecture.

2. Testing and Debugging

Assist in testing backend components for functionality, performance, and security.

Debug and resolve bugs or issues identified during development or testing phases.

Participate in code reviews and team discussions to improve code quality.

3. Database Interaction

Support integration with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.

Help in designing database schemas, writing queries, and managing data storage.

4. Learning and Documentation

Learn about Node.js frameworks such as Express.js, Koa, or others.

Document development processes, APIs, and technical specifications.

Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies related to backend development.

5. Collaboration

Work closely with frontend developers, UI/UX designers, and product managers to understand project requirements.

Attend team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and code walkthroughs.

Communicate progress, challenges, and questions effectively with team members.
