Required Site Supervisor - Lucknow

Key Responsibilities:

1. On-site Supervision

• Supervise and manage day-to-day site activities including excavation, concreting, masonry, carpentry, plumbing, and finishing works.
• Monitor site labor and subcontractors to ensure that work is executed as per the project plan and schedule.
• Assign tasks to workers based on priorities and capabilities.

2. Coordination with Project Teams

• Coordinate closely with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure alignment with project designs and requirements.
• Attend site meetings and report progress, bottlenecks, or safety concerns to the Project Manager or Site Engineer.
• Communicate instructions and project updates to site labor and team leaders.

3. Quality Assurance

• Ensure that construction materials and workmanship adhere to quality standards and project specifications.
• Conduct inspections of formwork, reinforcement, concreting, plastering, tiling, and painting.
• Identify quality issues and rectify them promptly to avoid rework.

4. Material Management

• Monitor the use of construction materials on-site to reduce wastage and theft.
• Maintain daily records of materials received, used, and stock levels.
• Raise material requisitions in advance to avoid delays in work.

5. Safety and Compliance

• Ensure that all site activities are conducted in accordance with safety norms and government regulations.
• Conduct safety tool-box talks and ensure the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all personnel.
• Report any incidents, near misses, or unsafe practices to the safety officer or management.

6. Workforce Management

• Supervise a team of skilled and unskilled laborers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Track attendance, discipline, and productivity of laborers on-site.
• Resolve conflicts or issues between workers and escalate serious matters to HR or site management.

7. Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain daily site reports (DPR), attendance registers, material logs, and labor deployment sheets.
• Provide weekly and monthly progress updates to the management team.
• Capture photographic evidence of work progress and quality.

8. Time and Resource Optimization

• Ensure that construction milestones are achieved on time by planning labor and resource deployment.
