Brand Promoter - SIM Activation And Branding

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Engagement

• Approach potential customers at assigned locations such as mobile stores, public spaces, kiosks, or stalls.
• Greet customers and explain mobile plans, recharge offers, and benefits of porting or activating a new SIM card.
• Clarify doubts about data, voice, validity, and documentation requirements.

2. SIM Activation

• Collect necessary documents (ID proof, address proof, photo) from the customer.
• Help them fill out the Customer Application Form (CAF) or complete eKYC through digital devices.
• Coordinate with backend teams to ensure successful and quick activation of SIMs.
• Ensure compliance with telecom regulatory norms (TRAI/DOT guidelines).

3. Brand Promotion

• Wear the official brand uniform or t-shirt (provided by the company) and maintain grooming and appearance standards.
• Distribute leaflets, brochures, and promotional materials.
• Set up branding at the kiosk/booth (standees, posters, banners, etc.) at the beginning of the day.
• Promote current recharge packs, limited-time offers, or cashback deals to attract walk-ins.

4. Target Achievement

• Meet daily, weekly, and monthly SIM activation targets set by your supervisor.
• Track customer interactions and maintain a log of interested prospects for follow-up.
• Report location-wise data and feedback to your area coordinator.

5. Team Coordination

• Work under the supervision of the area manager or team leader.
• Participate in morning briefings and end-of-day reporting calls.
• Help new team members understand activation procedures and talking points (if experienced).
