Job Description
Position Overview:We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Engineer to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will have a technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for promoting cutting-edge pad printing machines. As a Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in promoting our products, developing new business opportunities, and maintaining strong customer relationships.Key Responsibilities:Product Knowledge and Demonstration:- Understand and effectively communicate the technical aspects of our pad printing machines. Conduct product demonstrations and provide solutions that meet the customer s requirements.Sales Strategy & Execution:- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business growth in the assigned territory. Identify potential customers, generate leads, and close sales. Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in target industries.Customer Consultation & Technical Support:- Act as the technical expert in customer meetings. Provide pre-sales and post-sales support to customers, including technical consultations, troubleshooting, and training on machine operation.Market Research and Analysis:- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and industry trends. Provide feedback to the management team on market conditions, competitive activities, and customer preferences.Sales Reporting:- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, leads, prospects, and customer interactions using CRM tools. Submit regular sales reports to management.Collaboration:- Work closely with the marketing and technical teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies and customer satisfaction.Travel:- Frequent travel to meet customers, attend trade shows, and participate in industry events.Qualifications and Skills:- Education: Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Printing Technology, or a related field.- Experience: Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in sales or technical sales, preferably in the printing or machinery industry.- Prior experience in selling machines or similar industrial equipment is highly desirable.- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of machinery. Ability to troubleshoot and provide technical solutions to customers.- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present complex technical information in a clear and persuasive manner.- Customer Focus: Proven ability to build strong customer relationships, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring satisfaction.- Sales Skills: Strong negotiation and closing skills. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze customer needs, develop solutions, and overcome technical and commercial challenges.
