Required Delivery Boy - Mumbai

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Pickup and Delivery

• Collect items from the company warehouse, store, restaurant, or dispatch point.
• Verify the items for accuracy before leaving the pickup location.
• Deliver items to customers ' addresses or specified locations safely and on time.

2. Route Planning and Navigation

• Plan efficient delivery routes using Google Maps or GPS systems to save time and fuel.
• Avoid traffic-prone or blocked areas during high congestion times.
• Understand the local geography, landmarks, and common delivery zones.

3. Customer Interaction and Service

• Greet customers politely at the time of delivery.
• Hand over the product and obtain digital or physical proof of delivery (POD).
• Address basic queries or concerns from customers professionally and inform the supervisor if needed.

4. Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain records of deliveries, including date, time, customer name, and delivery status.
• Submit delivery slips, receipts, or customer acknowledgments to the supervisor daily.
• Report undelivered items, customer complaints, or route issues promptly.

5. Safety and Vehicle Care

• Follow all road safety rules and company protocols during delivery.
• Ensure vehicle (bike, cycle, or van) is clean, well-maintained, and fueled.
• Report any accidents, breakdowns, or damage to items during transit immediately.

6. Cash and Digital Payment Handling (If Applicable)

• Collect payment from customers (COD orders) accurately and issue receipts when necessary.
• Deposit collected amounts at the end of the shift to the accounts team or designated personnel.
• Ensure correct tallying of transactions and no cash discrepancies.
