Required Accounts Executive - Delhi

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our finance and accounts department. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Tally accounting software , GST returns , TDS filing , bookkeeping , voucher entry , and basic balance sheet preparation . The role involves day-to-day accounting operations, financial compliance, and supporting senior accountants in ensuring smooth functioning of all financial processes. This position is ideal for candidates with a strong understanding of accounting principles, statutory returns, and financial accuracy. Key Responsibilities:

1. Daily Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Maintain day-to-day financial transactions and entries in Tally ERP or Tally Prime .
• Record income, expenses, sales, purchases, credit notes, and debit notes.
• Create and manage vouchers for payments, receipts, journal entries, and contra entries.
• Monitor petty cash and maintain daily cash/bank books.

2. GST Filing & Compliance

• Prepare and file monthly/quarterly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.).
• Reconcile GSTR-2A/2B with purchase records.
• Ensure timely payment of GST liabilities and maintain GST ledgers.
• Assist in responding to GST notices or audits if required.

3. TDS & Statutory Deductions

• Deduct and deposit TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) for vendors, contractors, salaries, etc.
• Prepare TDS returns (Form 24Q, 26Q, etc.) and file them on time.
• Generate Form 16/16A for employees and vendors.
• Track due dates and avoid non-compliance penalties.

4. Balance Sheet & Reconciliation

• Assist in preparing monthly/quarterly trial balances and balance sheets .
• Reconcile bank statements with books of accounts.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable ledgers.
• Help in year-end financial closing and audit preparation.

5. Documentation & Records Management

• Maintain proper filing of invoices, bills, tax receipts, vouchers, and other financial documents.
• Ensure organized digital and physical recordkeeping for audits and inspections.
• Coordinate with vendors and clients to resolve invoice or payment discrepancies.

6. Coordination & Support

• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and internal departments.
• Assist senior accountants in budgeting, MIS reporting, and financial analysis.
• Support payroll processing and statutory deduction entries (EPF, ESIC, etc.) if required.
