Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate is passionate about visual storytelling and capable of transforming raw footage into polished, engaging, and impactful video content. As a Video Editor, you will play a critical role in shaping the narrative and visual tone of our digital media through the editing of promotional videos, interviews, tutorials, social media content, event recaps, and more. This role requires technical proficiency in video editing software, a creative eye, and a strong understanding of narrative flow, pacing, visual aesthetics, and brand identity. You will collaborate closely with producers, directors, marketers, and graphic designers to create videos that meet both creative and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

Editing and Post-Production

• Edit raw video footage into clear, engaging, and visually appealing content in line with the project s purpose and target audience.
• Assemble recorded footage and input sound, music, graphics, and effects.
• Ensure logical sequencing and smooth transitions in videos using modern editing techniques.
• Color correct and grade footage to enhance visual aesthetics and maintain consistency across projects.
• Adjust audio levels, mix soundtracks, and apply audio enhancements as needed.
• Export and deliver final video content in various formats optimized for different platforms (web, social media, broadcast, etc.).

Creative Collaboration

• Work closely with the creative team to understand the vision, tone, and objectives of each video project.
• Provide creative input during the planning and pre-production phases, offering suggestions on style, structure, and storytelling techniques.
• Collaborate with motion graphic designers, voice-over artists, and sound engineers when necessary.

Content Management

• Organize and maintain video libraries, project files, and backups.
• Keep a well-maintained archive of all raw footage, edited projects, and project assets.
• Manage media file naming conventions and metadata tagging for efficient retrieval.

Platform Optimization

• Edit and adapt video content for different platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and websites.
• Ensure that videos are optimized for performance and audience engagement on each platform, including adjusting aspect ratios, durations, and file sizes.

Quality Control

• Review and revise video drafts based on internal feedback and stakeholder input.
• Maintain high-quality standards for all output, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and professionalism.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, editing trends, and evolving viewer expectations.
