Job Summary:
We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Personal Banker to join our team. The role involves assisting customers with their banking needs, offering financial advice, and promoting bank products and services. The ideal candidate will build strong client relationships and help customers achieve their financial goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Open new accounts, including savings, checking, and fixed deposits.
Assist customers with loan applications (personal, home, auto, etc.).
Provide guidance on financial products such as credit cards, insurance, and investments.
Handle account inquiries, resolve issues, and perform account maintenance.
Promote and cross-sell bank products and services to meet customer needs.
Meet individual and branch sales targets.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of bank policies, products, and services.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and banking policies.
Maintain confidentiality and security of customer data.
Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience as a personal banker, relationship manager, or similar role.
Strong knowledge of banking products and services.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to meet targets.
Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and banking software.
High level of integrity and professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in banking or financial services (e.g., NISM, IRDAI) is a plus.
Experience in handling high-net-worth clients is an advantage.
