Required Fresher Accountant - Ahmedabad

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Entry and Record Maintenance

• Record day-to-day financial transactions in the accounting system accurately and promptly.
• Maintain proper filing of vouchers, invoices, receipts, bills, and other accounting documents.
• Support in maintaining ledgers for income, expenses, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

2. Invoice Preparation and Billing

• Assist in preparing customer invoices as per the terms and formats provided.
• Ensure that GST and other applicable taxes are correctly applied to all bills.
• Send invoices to clients and follow up for payment where required.

3. Bank and Cash Reconciliation

• Help in reconciling bank statements with the company s internal ledger.
• Identify discrepancies and inform the senior accountant or supervisor.
• Assist in tracking daily cash flow and maintaining petty cash records.

4. Tax and Compliance Support

• Learn and support the filing of GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory requirements under supervision.
• Organize tax-related documentation and help ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Understand basic income tax, company compliance, and ROC filing procedures (training will be provided).

5. Reporting and Analysis

• Generate standard reports such as expense summaries, sales reports, and cash flow statements.
• Assist in monthly closing activities by providing accurate data to senior accountants.
• Help in preparing balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, and trial balances.

6. Audit Preparation

• Assist in preparing and organizing documents required for internal and external audits.
• Support auditors with data extraction and documentation.
• Rectify errors or omissions pointed out during the audit process.
