Required Security Supervisor - Ahmedabad

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervision and Leadership:

• Lead, train, and manage a team of security officers or guards assigned to various posts.
• Schedule shifts and assign duties to security personnel to ensure adequate coverage of the facility at all times.
• Conduct regular briefings and training sessions to keep the security team updated on policies, emergency procedures, and any new threats.
• Evaluate performance and provide feedback, coaching, or disciplinary action when necessary.

2. Monitoring and Patrol:

• Conduct regular and random patrols of the building, perimeter, parking lots, and other areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious behavior.
• Oversee surveillance camera monitoring and ensure all equipment is functional and appropriately used.
• Monitor access points to ensure only authorized personnel or visitors enter restricted areas.

3. Emergency Response:

• Act as the primary point of contact in emergency situations, such as fire, medical emergencies, theft, or breaches of security.
• Coordinate emergency response efforts with external agencies such as police, fire departments, or emergency medical services when necessary.
• Ensure all security personnel are trained and familiar with emergency procedures, including evacuation, lockdowns, and incident reporting.

4. Reporting and Documentation:

• Prepare detailed incident reports, daily activity logs, and inspection checklists for internal use and compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of shift schedules, visitor logs, access control data, and any reported incidents.
• Conduct investigations into security breaches or incidents and compile findings for management review.

5. Compliance and Policy Enforcement:

• Enforce all organizational safety and security policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding safety, labor, and privacy laws.
• Monitor adherence to visitor protocols, identification badges, and vehicle access rules.

6. Customer Service and Communication:

• Act as a point of contact for staff, visitors, and clients with security-related inquiries or concerns.
• Maintain a calm, professional demeanor when dealing with confrontational individuals or stressful situations.
• Foster positive working relationships with other departments, building management, and emergency services.
