Job Description
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, CT scans, and fluoroscopy as per physician orders.
  • Position patients appropriately and operate radiographic equipment to obtain high-quality images.
  • Ensure radiation safety measures are strictly followed for patients, staff, and self.
  • Explain procedures clearly to patients and provide reassurance during imaging.
  • Prepare imaging reports and assist radiologists in image interpretation when required.
  • Maintain and calibrate radiologic equipment regularly.
  • Document procedures and upload images to PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System).
  • Comply with infection control, hospital policies, and standard operating procedures.
  • Assist in emergency imaging services and trauma cases.
  • Maintain proper documentation, patient records, and departmental logs.

  • Required Skills and Qualifications

    • Diploma in X-Ray Technology / Radiologic Technology from a recognized institution.
    • Valid certification or registration with the relevant local medical or radiology council preferred.
    • Basic to intermediate knowledge of human anatomy and radiographic positioning.
    • Understanding of radiation protection and safety practices.
    • Ability to follow technical instructions and interpret doctor s imaging requirements.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with patients of all age groups.
    • Physical ability to assist, position, and lift patients when required.
