Job Description
Position: Assistant Manager - Business DevelopmentLocation: DelhiCompensation: 10 LPAOverview:This role requires you to manage supply and own a region- and route-specific P&L. You will be responsible for the overall performance of the project assigned. As an individual contributor, you will collaborate with multiple teams to drive revenue growth and improve margins. The role involves travel within the city and frequent intercity travel.What you will do:- Identify new business opportunities related to bus operations in your region- Research the market, identify leads, and find high-quality buses and bus operators- Negotiate commercial terms and contracts to achieve savings and minimize risk- Collaborate with internal operations and demand teams to ensure smooth functioning and deliver quality service- Manage business relationships and serve as the point of contact between internal stakeholders and external suppliers- Drive growth through effective planning and execution with the support of operations, demand, and customer support teams- Make key business decisions related to P&L on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.What we are looking for:- Strong organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail- Excellent negotiation skills and a solid understanding of business- Proficiency in oral and written communication- A quality-first mindset and a whatever it takes attitude to ensure the best outcomes- Willingness to travel within the city and to other cities for business purposes- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment- Proficiency in Excel- Fluency in Hindi and English- 3-6 years of experience in a relevant field (ref:updazz.com)
