Technician - Sandblaster/Testing/Winding/Winding LT

Job Summary:
Perform surface preparation on metal components using sandblasting equipment to remove rust, paint, or contaminants. Key Responsibilities:

• Operate sandblasting equipment safely.
• Prepare surfaces for painting, coating, or repair.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to safety protocols.
• Clean and maintain sandblasting equipment.

Testing

Conduct electrical or mechanical testing of equipment such as motors, transformers, and switchgear to ensure compliance with specifications. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform insulation resistance, HV, load, and functional tests.
• Use instruments like megohmmeters, multimeters, and power analyzers.
• Document test results and identify any faults.
• Ensure safety and accuracy during testing.

Winding
Carry out the winding of coils for motors, transformers, or generators, ensuring accuracy and insulation integrity. Key Responsibilities:

• Wind coils according to design drawings/specifications.
• Apply insulation materials and varnish where required.
• Use winding machines and hand tools.
• Check winding continuity and resistance.

Winding LT
Specialize in low-tension (LT) winding for motors and transformers, focusing on precision and proper insulation. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform LT coil winding using proper gauge wire.
• Insulate and secure windings per standard procedures.
• Conduct continuity and insulation resistance checks.
• Maintain documentation and tools.
