Job Title: Regional / Sales Training Manager - Banca ChannelLocation: Indore & NagpurExperience Required: (Preferably in the life insurance industry, but candidates from health and general insurance will also be considered)- Sales Trainer: 2-5 years current experience in training (preferably in Banca or Direct Channel)- Sales Professional Transitioning to Training: 3-5 years of sales experience with strong performanceAbout the RoleWe are looking for a dynamic Sales Training Manager to lead the onboarding and performance training of Direct Sales Executives (DSEs) in our Bancassurance channel. This role is instrumental in building high-performing frontline teams through a structured, cohort-based training model-including classroom sessions, field coaching, and ongoing performance support.Key Responsibilities :Training Delivery & Program Execution :- Lead structured learning cohorts for all new joining Direct Sales Executives- Deliver classroom training & field coaching aligned to defined training architecture throughout the year- Execute monthly and quarterly training plans by visiting assigned branches- Monitor and evaluate DSE performance through scheduled assessments- Align with business teams to identify training needs across respective regionsTeam Management & Support :- Manage and mentor a team of newly onboarded DSEs and existing sales executives- Conduct daily sessions during induction and guide performance in the field- Prepare and transition DSEs into permanent sales units post-training- Track and manage attrition and engagement for new hires for their first year- Maintain records of training and customer conversationBusiness Alignment & Performance :- Ensure soft targets and sales-readiness milestones are achieved in the first 3 months- Identify training needs based on performance data and feedback- Develop or tailor content to address identified skill and knowledge gaps- Collaborate with Sales Managers to review and enhance post-induction performanceIdeal Candidate Profile :- Proven high-performing sales professional seeking a transition into a training role- Strong understanding of insurance sales and customer acquisition- Existing insurance trainer (preferably Banca/Direct Channel)- Demonstrated success in training and developing front-line sales teams- Willing to travel regularly within assigned branches (ref:updazz.com)
