Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Office Boy to join our team. This role combines the responsibilities of a general office assistant and a front desk receptionist. The ideal candidate should be well-mannered, presentable, possess good communication skills, and have a willingness to learn new skills such as computer usage, basic office software, and clerical support. Key Responsibilities

General Office Support

• Maintain cleanliness and order in the office areas including desks, meeting rooms, reception area, and pantry.
• Serve tea, coffee, water, and refreshments to staff and office visitors.
• Ensure that all common areas such as the kitchen, restrooms, and entrance are clean and well-maintained.
• Run office errands such as collecting/delivering documents, purchasing supplies, or visiting the bank or courier service when needed.

Reception and Front Desk Duties

• Greet and assist visitors, clients, or vendors arriving at the office in a polite and professional manner.
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate department or individual.
• Take messages and ensure they are delivered in a timely manner.
• Handle basic reception duties such as receiving courier parcels and maintaining a visitor logbook.

Clerical and Assistant Duties

• Assist in photocopying, scanning, and filing documents as required by office staff.
• Support office staff in organizing files, documentation, and inventory of supplies.
• Deliver internal memos or documents between departments as needed.
• Monitor office supplies and inform the concerned person when restocking is needed.

Learning and Skill Development

• Willing to learn basic computer tasks such as typing, email handling, Excel data entry, or printing.
• Attend basic internal training (if provided) for skill enhancement.
• Assist in small administrative tasks under supervision to gradually gain office experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 10th or 12th standard pass.
• Basic communication skills in English and Hindi (or local language).
• Presentable, polite, and professional behavior.
• Physically fit and energetic.
• Willingness to learn and take up new responsibilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Attributes

• Prior experience in office boy/receptionist/helper roles is an advantage.
• Candidates living nearby will be given preference.
• Willing to commit to working with the company for at least 1 year .
• Ability to handle minor technical equipment (e.g., printer, scanner, copier).
