US Payroll -Fresher

Job Summary

We are hiring freshers for the position of US Payroll & to join our payroll processing team. The role is designed for individuals who are interested in working in a high-accuracy, time-sensitive environment, handling payroll processes for US-based clients or employees. This is an entry-level role that offers structured training and exposure to international payroll systems, labor laws, and taxation. Candidates must be comfortable working night shifts to support US time zones and be eager to build a career in global payroll or HR operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Payroll Processing Support

• Assist the payroll team in processing salaries for employees based in the United States.
• Handle timesheet entries, attendance records, and working hours verification for accurate payroll execution.
• Verify new hire, termination, and employee status change information as per payroll guidelines.
• Support payroll calculation based on hourly rates, salaries, overtime, deductions, and benefits.

2. Data Entry & Validation

• Enter payroll data accurately into the payroll system or software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks, etc.).
• Assist in validating employee information like Social Security Numbers (SSN), W-4 forms, and banking details.
• Ensure all payroll data is up to date and compliant with state and federal regulations.

3. Compliance & Documentation

• Learn and follow US payroll compliance requirements, including IRS guidelines and state laws.
• Support the generation of payroll reports, tax forms (like W-2, 1099), and summaries.
• Assist in maintaining accurate payroll records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.

4. Communication & Coordination

• Communicate with internal teams or client contacts to gather or verify payroll-related information.
• Respond to queries related to payroll, salary slips, deductions, or benefits via email or internal systems.
• Coordinate with HR, finance, or accounting teams for payroll-related updates or corrections.

5. Learning & System Usage

• Get trained on payroll software, HRIS systems, and internal processes related to US payroll.
• Gain a basic understanding of US taxation, labor law, and benefits management.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain confidentiality and data security at all times.
