Job Roles and Responsibilities

Bakery Master

As a Bakery Master, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing and baking various bread products such as milk breads , sweet buns , pav , kulcha , bread rolls , and other baked goods.
• Managing dough preparation and fermentation processes with proper technique and timing.
• Ensuring consistency in taste, texture, and quality of all baked products.
• Operating bakery equipment such as ovens, mixers, proofers, slicers, and dough dividers.
• Maintaining high hygiene and safety standards during food preparation and handling.
• Monitoring ingredient inventory and informing management when stock needs replenishment.
• Training and supervising helpers and junior staff when needed.
• Innovating and experimenting with new recipes, seasonal items, or custom orders.
• Meeting production deadlines efficiently without compromising on quality.
• Ensuring that baking processes follow food safety and bakery guidelines.

Bakery Helper

As a Bakery Helper, you will assist in:

• Supporting the Bakery Masters with ingredient preparation like weighing flour, sugar, butter, and other raw materials.
• Mixing, kneading, and shaping dough under supervision.
• Arranging baked goods for display or packaging.
• Cleaning and maintaining workstations, equipment, utensils, and floors.
• Helping with oven monitoring and removing finished products carefully.
• Ensuring proper storage of ingredients and finished goods.
• Washing trays, tins, pans, and general cleanup duties.
• Assisting in packing and delivering orders as needed.
• Performing other tasks as assigned by supervisors.
