Data Entry Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Data Entry Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data in various computer systems and databases. You will work closely with internal departments to ensure data accuracy and consistency across all business processes. This role is suitable for individuals who have strong attention to detail, basic computer knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently under deadlines. The position is vital to ensuring smooth documentation, reporting, and data handling in daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Entry & Processing

• Enter data into company systems (e.g., CRM, Excel, ERP, or internal databases) from source documents within time limits.
• Verify accuracy of data before and after entry by cross-checking information from multiple sources.
• Update existing records and make corrections when required.
• Convert paper-based documents into digital format by scanning, organizing, and entering into the system.

2. Data Management & Maintenance

• Organize and maintain accurate digital filing systems for reports, records, and logs.
• Identify and report data inconsistencies, duplication, or missing information to the supervisor or concerned department.
• Safely handle confidential or sensitive information and comply with data protection policies.

3. Document Handling & File Management

• Prepare, compile, and sort documents for data entry as assigned.
• Label and store documents properly for easy access and future retrieval.
• Assist in generating data reports as per the request of managers or team leads.

4. Communication & Coordination

• Coordinate with other departments (such as accounts, HR, marketing, or sales) to collect, confirm, or clarify data for input.
• Maintain effective communication with reporting managers to ensure task clarity.
• Participate in internal meetings related to data updates, process improvements, or reporting formats.
