Required Logistic Executive - Pune

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Executive to join our supply chain team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end logistics process, including coordination with vendors, transporters, warehouse teams, and customers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods. You will play a critical role in ensuring efficient operations, optimizing logistics performance, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Shipment Coordination

• Coordinate domestic and international shipments (inbound and outbound).
• Ensure timely dispatch of goods based on delivery schedules.
• Liaise with transporters, courier partners, and freight forwarders.
• Track shipments and provide updates to internal teams and clients.

2. Documentation & Compliance

• Prepare and verify shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, delivery challans, e-way bills, and transport permits.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations, import/export policies, and internal SOPs.
• Maintain accurate records of all dispatches, receipts, and returns.

3. Inventory & Warehouse Coordination

• Coordinate with warehouse staff for inventory picking, packing, loading, and unloading.
• Monitor stock levels to ensure availability for dispatch.
• Assist in conducting periodic physical stock audits and reconciling discrepancies.

4. Vendor & Transporter Management

• Build strong relationships with logistics partners and negotiate rates where necessary.
• Resolve delays, shipment issues, or damages in transit by coordinating with vendors and transporters.
• Evaluate vendor performance regularly based on delivery timelines and service quality.

5. Order Processing

• Process sales orders and ensure timely fulfillment as per customer requirements.
• Monitor order-to-delivery timelines and escalate any potential delays.
• Coordinate returns, replacements, or reverse logistics if applicable.

6. Reporting & Analysis

• Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly logistics reports (e.g., delivery status, TAT, transit losses).
• Analyze freight costs, delivery efficiency, and suggest improvements.
• Update internal systems (ERP/Excel/CRM) with accurate and timely logistics data.
