Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Junior Accountant with hands-on experience in Tally ERP , inventory handling , GST filing , ITR preparation , and general company-related accounting activities . The ideal candidate will support the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring statutory compliance, and managing day-to-day accounting operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking to grow in a structured accounting role with exposure to both core finance and business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping (Tally ERP)

• Record all financial transactions in Tally ERP including sales, purchases, journal entries, and credit/debit notes
• Maintain day-to-day books of accounts : ledgers, cash book, and bank book
• Track and reconcile accounts payable/receivable and monitor outstanding balances
• Ensure accurate posting of expenses, income, and other transactions

2. Inventory & Stock Management

• Maintain inventory records in Tally including inward/outward stock entries
• Perform physical stock checks and reconcile with system reports
• Track material movements, consumption reports, and alert management on stock discrepancies
• Coordinate with the store/warehouse team for inventory-related entries and valuations

3. GST Compliance

• Prepare and file monthly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and maintain GST-related documentation
• Reconcile GST input credits with GSTR-2A/2B and take corrective action where required
• Maintain vendor GST records and ensure timely communication for mismatches
• Assist in annual GST filing and audits

4. Income Tax & ITR Filing

• Support in the preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns (ITR) for the company
• Coordinate with tax consultants or CA for submission and compliance-related activities
• Maintain TDS deductions and file quarterly TDS returns (Form 26Q, 24Q, etc.)

5. Bank Reconciliation & Cash Handling

• Reconcile daily bank transactions and statements with accounting books
• Manage petty cash and ensure entries are posted with supporting bills
• Track inward and outward bank transactions related to company operations

6. Company Compliance Support

• Assist in maintaining records related to company audits, licenses, and registrations
• Prepare reports and documentation required for ROC filings or statutory inspections
• Liaise with auditors and consultants for company-related compliance
