Required Civil Engineer - Bangalore

Key Responsibilities:

1. Site Execution & Supervision

• Supervise and execute civil construction activities at the project site, including:
  • Earthwork
  • Concrete foundations and flooring
  • Industrial sheds and RCC structures
  • Drainage and road works
• Ensure that work is carried out as per approved drawings , technical specifications, and construction schedules.
• Monitor daily progress and ensure quality workmanship and safety compliance.

2. Quantity Estimation & Billing

• Prepare and verify quantities of materials and work done for internal records and client billing.
• Assist in preparing RA bills (Running Account Bills) and client measurement books as per railway norms.
• Coordinate with the billing engineer or quantity surveyor to track material consumption and work progress.

3. Quality Assurance & Technical Compliance

• Implement quality checks for materials (cement, steel, aggregates, etc.) and construction practices.
• Ensure compliance with Indian Standard (IS) codes , Indian Railways specifications, and Saga Constructions internal quality protocols.
• Prepare and maintain inspection checklists , cube test reports, and site logs.

4. Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with subcontractors, site labor, and suppliers for timely execution.
• Liaise with client engineers from Indian Railways / RWF for joint inspections, approvals, and updates.
• Report daily activities, challenges, and resource needs to the Site In-Charge or Project Manager .

5. Material and Resource Planning

• Requisition materials and tools in coordination with the procurement team.
• Track on-site inventory and coordinate deliveries to avoid shortages or delays.
• Ensure proper utilization of labor, machinery, and materials for cost-efficient operations.
