Assistant Business Developer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Business Developer to support our business development initiatives and help expand our client base. This role involves working closely with senior team members to research markets, identify leads, build relationships with potential clients, and contribute to strategies that drive business growth. As an Assistant Business Developer, you will help prepare proposals, maintain client databases, coordinate meetings, and support the overall sales and marketing efforts of the organization. The ideal candidate is organized, enthusiastic, and eager to learn about sales, market expansion, and partnership building.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Market Research & Analysis

• Conduct research on potential markets, industries, clients, and competitors.
• Analyze customer data, industry trends, and business intelligence to identify new opportunities.
• Compile market insights and assist in preparing reports or presentations for internal use.

2. Lead Generation & Prospecting

• Assist in identifying and qualifying new leads through online research, social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn), and CRM tools.
• Maintain and update databases of potential clients and partners.
• Support outreach campaigns via emails, messages, and follow-up calls to generate interest.

3. Proposal & Documentation Support

• Help prepare business proposals, presentations, quotations, and capability decks.
• Assist in drafting or editing emails, responses to client inquiries, and follow-up communication.
• Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to create professional and engaging client-facing documents.

4. Client Relationship Support

• Coordinate meetings, calls, or demos between prospects and senior business development executives.
• Maintain communication logs and ensure timely follow-ups with potential clients.
• Support relationship-building efforts through consistent communication and professional correspondence.

5. Sales Coordination

• Work with the sales and marketing team to align outreach strategies with current campaigns.
• Track the progress of leads in the sales funnel and update CRM systems accordingly.
• Help prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales activity reports.

6. Event & Campaign Assistance

• Assist in organizing events, webinars, or trade shows by preparing materials, managing invitations, and following up with participants.
• Contribute to promotional campaigns and content planning efforts.
• Represent the company at local networking events (if applicable).

7. Internal Collaboration

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, and finance to align business development goals with organizational strategy.
• Attend internal strategy meetings and contribute ideas based on market insights or client feedback.
