Job Description

Job Title: On-Site Quality Inspection and Documentation Executive

Location:& Wada

Department: On Site Quality&

Reporting To: Quality Manager / Project Manager

Job Summary:

& Inspection and Testing:
Conduct visual inspections of surfaces before and after powder coating to identify defects such as runs, sags, or uneven coverage.

Perform adhesion tests (e.g., cross-hatch test) to assess the bond between the powder coating and the substrate.

Measure film thickness to ensure it meets specifications.

- Conduct impact and bend tests to evaluate the coating s flexibility and durability.

- Monitor and test powder coating materials for proper curing and performance.

- Utilize various testing equipment (e.g., DFT gauges, adhesion testers).

- Document all test results and findings.

Surface Preparation:
- Ensure proper surface preparation, including cleaning, degreasing, and applying& & & & pretreatment chemicals (e.g., phosphating).

- Verify that the surface is free from contaminants and suitable for powder coating.

Process Control:
- Monitor the powder coating application process, including powder feed rate, spray gun settings, and oven temperature.

- Ensure that the coating is applied evenly and consistently.

- Identify and troubleshoot any process-related issues that may affect quality.

Material Management:
- Check powder coating materials for proper storage, handling, and expiration dates.

- Ensure that the correct powder coating color and type are used for each application.

Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain detailed records of all quality control activities.&

Reporting any non-conformances or deviations from quality standards.&

Collaborating with production and engineering teams to address quality issues.&

Continuous Improvement:

Contributing to the development and implementation of quality control procedures.&

Identifying areas for process improvement to enhance powder coating quality and efficiency.&

Staying up-to-date on industry best practices and new technologies.&

Skills and Qualifications:&

Technical Knowledge:

A strong understanding of powder coating materials, application techniques, and testing methods is essential.&

Attention to Detail:

Meticulous attention to detail is crucial for identifying even minor defects in the coating.&

Problem-Solving Skills:

The ability to troubleshoot and resolve quality issues quickly and effectively is important.&

Communication Skills:

Effective communication with team members, supervisors, and other departments is vital for maintaining quality control.&

Experience:

Depending on the role, experience in powder coating operations, quality control, or related fields may be required.&

Certification:

Relevant certifications (e.g., NACE, SSPC) may be beneficial for certain roles.&

Carrying quality audit currently for 3 outsourced vendor and within 8 months full time at our factory powder coating&

Experience of more than 4 years
