Required Junior Accountant - Jaipur

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting and Bookkeeping

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records for clients, including ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and petty cash management.
• Record and reconcile sales, purchases, expenses, and incomes.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements such as balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, and cash flow statements.
• Perform monthly and quarterly closing procedures as per client requirements.

2. Taxation Work

• Prepare and file Goods and Services Tax (GST) returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.) for various clients.
• Assist in computation and filing of Income Tax returns for individuals, firms, and companies.
• Help prepare Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) returns and related compliance (Form 26Q, 24Q, 27Q).
• Support senior accountants in handling tax notices and responding to queries from tax authorities.

3. Audit and Assurance Support

• Assist in statutory, internal, and tax audits for corporate and non-corporate clients.
• Perform vouching, verification, and compliance checks as per audit programs.
• Prepare working papers and audit documentation under the supervision of senior auditors.
• Help identify control gaps, accounting discrepancies, or non-compliance issues during audits.

4. Consultancy Assistance

• Support in preparing project reports, CMA data, and financial projections for bank loans or funding proposals.
• Collect and analyze financial data for business advisory assignments.
• Help research applicable tax laws, notifications, and circulars as part of advisory or litigation support work.
• Assist in setting up accounting systems or software for new businesses or clients.

5. Regulatory Compliance

• Support filings with the Registrar of Companies (ROC), including Annual Returns, Director KYC, and other MCA compliance (under guidance).
• Help with PAN/TAN/GST registrations, IEC codes, and Udyam registrations.
• Monitor deadlines for tax filings, audit reports, and other statutory obligations.
