Required Junior Architect - Bangalore

Key Responsibilities

1. Design Support & Drafting

• Assist in creating conceptual and schematic designs under the guidance of senior architects.
• Prepare detailed architectural drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and details using CAD software.
• Develop 3D models and visualizations using tools like AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar software.
• Assist in preparing presentations, design boards, and project proposals.

2. Documentation & Compliance

• Prepare construction documents, working drawings, and specifications for client and contractor use.
• Coordinate with consultants (structural, MEP, etc.) to integrate their inputs into architectural plans.
• Ensure drawings comply with local building codes, zoning laws, and sustainability standards.
• Assist in preparing permits and documentation for statutory approvals.

3. Project Coordination

• Collaborate with the project team to ensure timely delivery of design milestones.
• Attend site visits to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to design intent.
• Prepare site reports and document changes or challenges faced during construction.
• Support cost estimation and procurement activities by providing detailed drawings and specifications.

4. Research & Development

• Stay updated with current architectural trends, materials, and technologies.
• Research innovative design solutions and sustainable practices to be incorporated into projects.
• Assist in maintaining a project library of materials, details, and product specifications.

5. Client & Stakeholder Communication

• Assist in client meetings by preparing presentations and taking minutes.
• Respond to client queries regarding design, material selection, and project timelines.
• Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and consultants to clarify design details and resolve issues.
