Job Description

Job Summary:

The Telesales Executive plays a critical role in the sales process by engaging potential and existing customers over the phone to promote and sell products or services. This position demands excellent communication skills, a persuasive attitude, and a customer-centric approach to achieve sales targets and contribute to the company s growth. The Telesales Executive is responsible for generating leads, managing customer relationships, and closing sales, all while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Interaction and Lead Generation:
    • Proactively contact potential customers via telephone to introduce and promote products or services.
    • Qualify leads by understanding customer needs and requirements.
    • Use a customer database or CRM system to track interactions, update records, and manage follow-up activities.
    • Identify new sales opportunities and generate leads through cold calling, referrals, and follow-up calls.
    • Respond promptly to inbound inquiries and convert them into sales opportunities.
  2. Sales Process Management:
    • Present products and services to customers effectively, highlighting key features and benefits.
    • Explain product specifications, pricing, and promotions clearly and accurately.
    • Handle objections and queries professionally, using negotiation skills to close sales.
    • Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets set by management.
    • Upsell and cross-sell additional products or services to maximize revenue.
    • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the company s offerings and industry trends to provide accurate information.
  3. Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
    • Follow up with customers after sales to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues or complaints.
    • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
    • Maintain a positive and professional attitude during all customer interactions.
    • Coordinate with internal departments such as marketing, logistics, and customer support to ensure smooth order processing and delivery.
  4. Reporting and Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate records of calls made, sales achieved, and customer feedback.
    • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, challenges, and market feedback for management review.
    • Track daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics and suggest improvements.
    • Comply with company policies and legal regulations related to telemarketing and data privacy.
