Job Overview

A Telesales Executive is responsible for promoting products and services over the phone and driving sales through effective communication and customer engagement. The role involves reaching out to potential customers , understanding their needs, explaining offerings , and closing sales deals . The candidate should be persuasive, target-oriented, and customer-focused , with strong communication skills. This role is suitable for individuals who enjoy speaking with people , building rapport quickly , and achieving measurable sales goals .

Key Responsibilities

A. Lead Generation & Prospecting

• Make outbound calls to potential customers from the provided database.
• Identify and qualify leads based on customer needs and interest .
• Maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients through regular follow-ups.
• Build a deep understanding of the company s products/services to pitch effectively.

B. Sales & Customer Engagement

• Present, promote, and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers.
• Explain product features, benefits, and pricing clearly and convincingly.
• Handle objections and questions from customers professionally and confidently.
• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets set by the management.
• Upsell and cross-sell related products/services wherever applicable.

C. Follow-Up & Customer Retention

• Maintain regular follow-ups with interested leads to convert them into sales.
• Provide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers.
• Update customers about new offers, promotions, and product launches .

D. Reporting & Documentation

• Record details of calls, inquiries, leads, and conversions accurately in the CRM.
• Generate and submit daily/weekly sales reports to the team leader or manager.
• Analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements in sales strategies.

Required Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

• Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, MS Word, email, CRM tools).
• Familiarity with telecalling systems and lead management software is an advantage.

Eligibility Criteria

• Education:
  • Minimum 12th pass ; Bachelor s degree preferred but not mandatory.
