Branch Banking Executive In - House

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Service & Relationship Management

• Welcome and assist walk-in customers at the branch and provide personalized service .
• Handle customer queries related to savings accounts, current accounts, deposits, loans, and other banking services .
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Address customer grievances professionally and escalate unresolved issues to the Branch Manager.

2. Account Management & Operations

• Assist customers with opening new accounts and completing KYC documentation.
• Process customer requests for account updates, transfers, and service modifications .
• Handle cash deposits, withdrawals, cheque clearances, and fund transfers accurately.
• Ensure timely processing of loan applications, credit card requests, and account closures.

3. Sales & Cross-Selling of Banking Products

• Promote and cross-sell banking products such as loans, credit cards, insurance, mutual funds, fixed deposits, and savings schemes .
• Understand customer financial needs and offer suitable solutions to enhance business growth.
• Achieve assigned sales and business development targets set by the branch.

4. Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure all customer transactions comply with banking regulations and RBI guidelines .
• Maintain confidentiality of customer information and follow proper documentation practices.
• Conduct proper verification and KYC checks for all accounts and financial services.
• Identify and report any suspicious or fraudulent activities to the compliance team.

5. Branch Coordination & Reporting

• Work closely with the Branch Manager and other team members to ensure smooth branch operations.
• Prepare and maintain daily reports related to customer transactions, sales performance, and branch operations.
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and product knowledge workshops .

Required Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

• Basic knowledge of banking products and services .
• Familiarity with banking software, CRM tools, and MS Office applications .
• Understanding of cash handling procedures, financial reporting, and reconciliation .
