Required Accountant - Coimbatore

Key Responsibilities

A. Financial Record Keeping

• Record and maintain daily financial transactions including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
• Post entries accurately in ledgers and accounting software .
• Ensure documentation and filing of financial records are up-to-date.

B. Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements .
• Analyze financial data to support management decision-making .
• Generate reports for internal use and regulatory compliance .

C. Taxation & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, PF, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements .
• Prepare and file tax returns and other statutory reports .
• Liaise with tax authorities, auditors, and regulators as needed.

D. Budgeting & Forecasting Support

• Assist in budget preparation and monitoring .
• Track expenses and revenue to ensure alignment with budget forecasts .
• Provide inputs on cost optimization and financial efficiency .

E. Coordination & Internal Control

• Collaborate with other departments for smooth financial operations .
• Maintain internal controls and financial procedures .
• Assist auditors during internal and external audits .

Required Skills & Competencies

A. Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Tally, Excel, and accounting software .
• Knowledge of GST, Income Tax, TDS, PF, and other regulatory requirements .
• Ability to prepare financial statements, reconciliations, and reports accurately.
