Required Civil Engineer - Bangalore

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Coordination

• Understand project requirements and develop detailed engineering plans .
• Coordinate with architects, designers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare time schedules, cost estimates, and resource allocation plans.
• Ensure smooth project execution by monitoring progress at all stages.

2. Site Supervision & Execution

• Supervise on-site construction activities to ensure quality and safety.
• Manage labor, materials, and machinery to meet deadlines.
• Monitor site work to confirm it matches approved drawings and specifications .
• Ensure that all safety protocols and government regulations are followed.

3. Structural Design & Analysis

• Assist in designing foundations, beams, columns, slabs, and structural frameworks .
• Use tools like AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, ETABS, and Revit for drafting and analysis.
• Conduct load calculations and strength testing to ensure structural stability.
• Work closely with structural engineers to finalize designs.

4. Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Ensure all materials used meet the required standards and specifications.
• Conduct regular quality checks on construction materials and workmanship.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, environmental regulations, and safety norms .
• Address any structural or design-related issues that arise during construction.

5. Budgeting & Cost Control

• Prepare and manage project budgets.
• Monitor material procurement, vendor payments, and contractor bills .
• Reduce project costs by optimizing resources without compromising quality.
• Prepare progress reports and submit them to senior management.

6. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of project schedules, daily site reports, and material consumption .
• Draft technical reports, inspection documents, and handover documents.
• Submit regular updates to clients and management regarding project progress.

7. Vendor & Client Management

• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure timely material delivery.
• Act as a point of contact between clients and the project team.
• Address client queries, provide updates, and ensure customer satisfaction.
