Required Accounts Assistant - Ahmedabad

Job Purpose The Accounts Assistant will provide support to the finance team by maintaining accurate financial records, assisting in statutory compliance, and ensuring smooth day-to-day accounting operations. Key Responsibilities & & & & & & & & Record and update daily financial transactions (sales, purchases, receipts, payments, expenses). & & & & & & & & Prepare and process invoices, credit notes, and debit notes. & & & & & & & & Reconcile ledgers, vendor accounts, and bank statements. & & & & & & & & Support in preparation and filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns. & & & & & & & & Maintain accurate documentation and filing of financial records. & & & & & & & & Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. & & & & & & & & Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and auditors when required. & & & & & & & & Handle petty cash and support other routine accounting tasks. Skills & Competencies & & & & & & & & Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. & & & & & & & & Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally, ERP, etc.). & & & & & & & & Attention to detail and high level of accuracy. & & & & & & & & Good analytical and problem-solving skills. & & & & & & & & Strong organizational and communication skills. & & & & & & & & Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks. Qualifications & Experience & & & & & & & & Bachelor s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent. & & & & & & & & 0 3 years of experience in accounts or finance roles. & & & & & & & & Freshers with sound knowledge of accounting basics will be considered.
