Required Junior Accountant - Ahmedabad

2. Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Process vendor bills and invoices for timely payments.
• Ensure accurate billing and reconciliations with suppliers and customers.
• Follow up with clients for pending payments and send reminders when necessary.
• Prepare statements for accounts payable and accounts receivable for reporting purposes.

3. Bank Reconciliation

• Perform monthly bank reconciliations to match company books with bank statements.
• Track deposits, withdrawals, and charges to ensure accuracy.
• Resolve discrepancies in coordination with the bank and accounts department.

4. GST, TDS & Taxation Support

• Assist in GST calculations, return filing, and input tax credits .
• Support in preparing TDS challans, returns, and ensuring deductions are accurate.
• Work closely with senior accountants and auditors during statutory audits and assessments.

5. Financial Reporting

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports for management review.
• Assist in preparing profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Generate reports for debtors, creditors, and outstanding dues.

6. Inventory & Asset Management

• Coordinate with the stores or inventory team for stock and asset accounting .
• Record purchases, transfers, and consumption in the accounting system.
• Assist in periodic stock audits and reconciliations.

7. Documentation & Record-Keeping

• Maintain proper filing and organization of accounting documents, vouchers, and receipts.
• Ensure all financial records are updated and easily retrievable for audits and compliance purposes.
• Assist in the preparation of MIS (Management Information System) reports as required.

8. Compliance & Audit Support

• Ensure adherence to company accounting policies, tax regulations, and compliance norms .
• Provide required data and documents to auditors during internal and external audits.
• Coordinate with the finance team to close monthly, quarterly, and annual books efficiently.
