What you 'll do
:
Respond promptly and efficiently to security incidents as well as conducting post:incident analysis.
:
Detect and respond to threats in network environments.
:
Use Splunk and other SIEM tools to identify potential security incidents, create incident reports, and provide an initial assessment of the incident 's impact.
:
Coordinate response efforts and help remediate identified threats and vulnerabilities.
:
Standardize and automate incident response functions and workflows.
:
Enhance and maintain playbooks and other documentation for incident response activities.
What you bring
:
Experience in a Security Incident Response role or a similar position.
:
Excellent understanding of computer networking and common internet protocols.
:
Proficient with Splunk and other SIEM tools.
:
Familiarity with different types of cyber threats, vulnerabilities, evasion techniques, attack vectors, tools, techniques, and procedures.
:
Exceptional communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex security concepts in simple terms.
:
Flexibility to adjust to different time zones and working hours as per the requirement.
:
General understanding of SAP corporate, its functions, and processes.
:
8 years of experience and Bachelor 's or Master 's degree in Computer Science or a related field
:
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar field.
:
3 years of relevant work experience working in a Security Incident Responder role.
:
Any additional industry:relevant certifications (like GCIH, ECIH, CISSP, etc.) would be a plus.
