Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Service & Support

• Welcome and assist customers visiting the branch.
• Provide information on banking products, services, and account-related queries .
• Help customers with cash deposits, withdrawals, cheque clearances, and fund transfers .
• Ensure prompt resolution of customer issues while maintaining a polite and professional approach.

2. Sales & Product Promotion

• Promote banking products such as savings accounts, current accounts, fixed deposits, credit cards, loans, insurance, and investment schemes.
• Assist customers in understanding the benefits and features of various products.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets through effective cross-selling and up-selling strategies.

3. Transaction Handling & Documentation

• Manage routine cash and non-cash banking transactions accurately.
• Ensure proper documentation for account openings, loan applications, and KYC compliance.
• Handle customer verification processes to minimize errors and fraud.
• Maintain records of daily transactions and customer interactions .

4. Compliance & Security

• Follow all banking policies, procedures, and RBI guidelines .
• Maintain confidentiality of customer data and financial records.
• Report suspicious transactions to the branch manager or compliance officer immediately.

5. Branch Operational Support

• Support the branch in daily administrative and operational tasks .
• Coordinate with internal teams for approvals, verifications, and follow-ups.
• Assist in organizing promotional events, customer meetups, and financial awareness drives .

• Basic knowledge of banking products and financial services .
• Familiarity with core banking software, MS Office, and digital banking platforms .
