Key Responsibilities Area & & & & & & & Preparing dough, stretching the dough, making sauces, making pasta, portioning toppings, cutting veggies, and cooking pizzas. & & & & & & & Ensure restaurant/store cleanliness daily by clearing tables, returning trays to the kitchen, sweeping and mopping floors, washing and sanitizing kitchen utensils, and servicing restrooms. & & & & & & & Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area. & & & & & & & Communicate effectively with other team members and manager, help manager to train new employees. & & & & & & & Greet customers, record orders, and serve food and beverages with a consistently positive and helpful attitude, including answering questions about the menu. & & & & & & & Making menu recommendations, answering questions about menu item and sharing additional information with restaurant/store patrons & & & & & & & Up-sell additional products when appropriate & & & & & & & Check customers IDs to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages. & & & & & & & Preparation of food to ensuring there is sufficient stock for key service periods. & & & & & & & Assist in preparing and cooking daily deliveries of fresh food & & & & & & & Monitor food stock and place orders, as needed & & & & & & & Recommend new recipes to update our menus & & & & & & & Maintain a clean cooking station and sterilize equipment & & & & & & & Input orders into a point-of-sale system and accept payment using a card reader or cash register, calculating change accurately and quickly as required. & & & & & & & Handle guests concerns and complaints professionally and calmly to resolve problems according to restaurant policy. & & & & & & & Work together with the kitchen team to prepare food while following cooking instructions, safety procedures, and sanitary requirements.. & & & & & & & Maintain inventory of Food and Beverages on daily basis during the opening and closing of restaurant. & & & & & & & Follow work schedule time and safe work practices. & & & & & & & Follow grooming and uniform guidelines as per the 1441 Pizzeria Grooming Guide & & & & & & & At all times, project a favorable image of 1441 Pizzeria to the general public.
