Montessori/Trained Teacher

We are looking for a dedicated, caring, and creative Montessori/Trained Teacher to join our preschool team in KK Nagar . The ideal candidate should have a passion for early childhood education, the ability to handle young children with patience, and the skills to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment. This role specifically involves handling Pre-KG and Playgroup children , guiding them through foundational learning activities, and supporting their overall development in a joyful and structured manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Classroom Management
  • Handle and supervise Pre-KG/Playgroup children with care and attention.
  • Ensure safety, hygiene, and a positive learning atmosphere at all times.
  • Maintain discipline gently while encouraging freedom of expression.
• Teaching & Learning
  • Conduct age-appropriate learning activities using Montessori/early childhood teaching methods.
  • Focus on basic concepts such as recognition of letters, numbers, shapes, and colors.
  • Introduce children to storytelling, rhymes, songs, and hands-on activities.
  • Encourage motor skills, creativity, and social interaction through play-based learning.
• Child Development & Care
  • Monitor the emotional, social, and cognitive development of each child.
  • Handle children with patience, compassion, and empathy.
  • Identify individual learning needs and provide extra support when required.
• Parent Communication
  • Interact with parents regarding their child s progress and development.
  • Provide regular feedback during parent-teacher meetings.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all communication.
• School Activities & Administration
  • Assist in organizing school events, celebrations, and cultural programs.
  • Maintain student attendance records and progress reports.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff for smooth functioning of the school.

Skills & Competencies Required

• Strong passion for teaching and working with children.
• Montessori training or Early Childhood Education certification (preferred).
• Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Tamil is an added advantage).
• Ability to manage and engage toddlers with creativity and patience.
• Caring, responsible, and approachable personality.
